Background: Before joining INRS, Professor Pham Van Bang directed the Hydraulic and Environmental Risks Laboratory (LRHE), a component of CEREMA (Center for studies and expertise on risks, the environment, mobility and development) at the Saint-Venant Hydraulic Laboratory (LHSV) in France where he also worked for many years as a researcher. He was also an engineer at CETMEF (Center for Maritime and River Technical Studies) of the French Ministry of the Environment, Sustainable Development and Energy.

Background:
Jacob Stolle completed his Ph.D. focusing on the design of resilient coastal and riverine infrastructure in extreme flooding events, with an emphasis on the physical modelling of associated design conditions. His research interests include the application of physical and numerical modelling for the design of resilient coastal protection structures under challenging climatic conditions and hybrid physical-numerical modelling procedures for improving the understanding of coastal phenomena.

 

Dominik Lapierre

-Technical diploma in Mechanical engineering, Cégep de Jonquière (Saguenay)

Background: Specializing in mechanical design and product development, Dominik Lapierre carried out research on aluminum structures. He also had several internships for mechanical and/or civil engineering firms.

 

 

Raky Rezgui

Diploma in Industrial engineering technology, Cégep Limoilou (Québec)

Background: Before joining INRS, Raky Rezgui worked as a production planner at Gentec, a company working in high-tech electronics. He has also worked on different optimization and continuous improvement project while also acting as a production team supervisor.
