We are a new coastal engineering and scientist group situated in Quebec, Canada. We are a part of one of the four research centre, the Centre for Eau Terre Environnement at the Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS) . INRS is affiliated with University of Quebec which comprises 11 universities and schools.
- Our aim is to contribute to coastal engineering problems ranging from fundamental to applied research to practical engineering benefiting the Province and elsewhere. We seek to improve the understanding of wind-driven waves and ocean-structure-seabed interactions.
- Our research revolve around large scale flume experiments, field campaigns and numerical free-surface model development. In all of these areas, the Quebec Coastal Physics laboratory also offers research services to other universities, as well as industry and government stakeholders.
